Garden Shed Clay LLC (“we”, “us”) operates Wave Decoder (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing the data we collect.

Account information: your email address and authentication details when you register or sign in.

Operator profile: optional details you provide in Settings, such as your name, call sign, mailing address, receiver, antenna, and reception location, used to populate reception reports.

Reception logs: the decoded messages, spectrograms, SINPO ratings, and notes you choose to save.

Technical & usage data: basic device and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, such as authentication tokens and aggregate feature usage.

We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service and your account; generate and store your reception reports; display propagation and signal data; process subscription payments; secure the Service against abuse; and provide support. We do not sell your personal information.

Your reception logs and station entries are isolated to your account through server-enforced access controls. Other users cannot read, edit, or delete your data. Shared reference data (such as broadcast schedules) is available to all users but is not personal data.

We rely on third-party providers for authentication, payment processing, AI-assisted analysis, and reference broadcast-schedule data. These providers process data under their own privacy and security terms. Payment-card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete data or close your account, we remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication and per-user access isolation. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this directly within the Service (editing your profile, deleting reception logs, or deleting your account). For additional requests, contact us through the support channels in the app.

The Service is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your data may be processed there. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers in accordance with this policy.

The Service is not directed to children under the age required by your jurisdiction to consent to data processing, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
